Went to an EV plant in China and took this. Lost any thoughts of having an EV.

I never thought I would consider anything like a EV but I may consider a hybrid the next time around.

I was nibbling around the edges on a hybrid.
The GLS 63 is now a hybrid.
Had the dealer been willing to give me a little more cash I would have squeezed the trigger.
In hindsight, I should have just bit the bullet and taken the deal.

The 4dr Pcar sedan EV is very popular here. Seats only 4. The MB sedan also especially with the taxi companies. Plenty of EV SUVs also.

They work well for people like my son or perhaps retirees who just drive short distances within a certain region. They work really well for some people and certain driving conditions. I have no interest in taking one on a highway trip. My son drives 20 kms to work and 20 kms back home every day. His charge time is about 1-2 hours after he returns home, that was in the worst winter conditions, it will be much better as the warm weather arrives. He only charges to 80 % and he tends to have more than 60% charge remaining after each daily drive. Charging at home is affordable and efficient (level 2) , charging from a third party source on the road is no cheaper than gas. Charge at home , do your daily driving and not worry about running low and it all works well. I had three highway work trips this past week, it would not be good for me, no thanks.

I could see an electric as a second car. But Sand is like Dave. She won't let go of fer Ranger pickup until it dies. And with the little 4-banger engine, it just won't die..

Mike,
If you think back to the clunker buy backs,
They came up with a silica solution to poor into engines.
If you want it dead, that will work.

Some killer deals on used Lucid Air Pure right now. Super cool car for $35K.

Love these cars and the engineering.
