Yeah. I'd go with the Roller.

Legitimate concern for sure. I'd be comfortable leasing a Lucid but not so sure I'd buy one. And I have a fair amount of their stock.
About a year ago they were running a super aggressive leas program on the Air Pure. $499/month for 18 months.

Should have pulled the trigger on that but my S4 needs a little work before selling it and the missus would have been major league unhappy if I unilaterally signed for a Lucid.

Doubtful that the Saudis will let them go under completely and confident that their engineering prowess has value if only as a consultant to other firms and not actually making cars.

Stock took another hit today with further dilution.

I live about 20 mins from a service center so that wouldn't really be an issue for me but an hour+ away would be annoying.

They are getting better with OTA upgrades but I'd still want to be reasonably close to the facility.

As fate would have it I'm casually shopping EVs now and am leaning towards a CPO Taycan Sport Turismo. They depreciate so quickly

Waiting to see if the new BMW Neue Klasse i3 Touring actually materializes.
That would be a pretty cool car and Audi of America flat out told me they are not bringing the new RS4 Avant to the US which makes me sad. It is so badass.

"CPO" is the only way I would buy a 'modern' car but it would not be a EV.... that's just me being an old fart. But my 29 year old F-150 and my 67 year old MG are both running fine. Even my wife's Honda is 8 years old. Like our cars, we are Vintage. At our age we are not doing cross country drives. Heck, spent the entire afternoon enjoying spirts and friends by a lake even if it was raining cats and dogs here.

Sam, if you are reading this. Your new business location looks great from the road!

Were they good spirts? David had a woody and you're out there enjoying sprits with friends.

I need to get out more and not just drive senior citizens like I did today as a fill-in.

A few more, Dave. I got more active in the New England chapter of the AHCA and they put me on the BOD. I organized a monthly breakfast meet over the winter and next week we are having the Healey Breakfast Challenge. The challenge is to drive your Healey to the breakfast. It's motivation for all us geezers to get their cars out of mothballs and figure out what parts died of old age over the winter. Everyone who shows up in their Healey at the breakfast gets a free cup of coffee, on me. I'm still a sport, ain't I?

Great to hear Bill. Nothing beats person-to-person meets that gives you a reason to fire up a vintage car and enjoy why you restored it in the first place. I plan to go to one on April 26.
