I think most of the crashes are either during practice or during the race. There seldom are crashes during qualifying IMHO.

And then there were two crashes in the first 5 minutes of this qualifying. Not key players.

Pretty good race. Nice to see a track where there can be so much passing.

LeClerc got a double penalty that pushed him back to 7th. I thought that he deserved to hurt a little more after bashing on Verstappen.

I was somewhat surprised that they pitted Hamilton the second time.
But 6th year in a row that Mercedes-AMG pull off the double; Constructors and drivers championship.
The drivers title isn't formally decided but the only contenders are Hamilton and Bottas.

Highly likely Hamilton clinches in Mexico. He can almost park it now.

Well max did set fastest lap blasting through a yellow without lifting.
My hunch is this could be a messy race.

The race wasn't as sloppy as i thought it might be but they did shred some carbon fiber.
I thought vettel should have gotten penalized for his stunt where he squeezed Hamilton off the track on the start.

F1 - Texas. Gee bumps. Really. An't that a shame. Oh, my goodness what would Fango think of today's F1. Hope to see a good race anyways since its wide enough to race buses on.
