Default Fall Back

It’s that time again, seems early this year. At 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning it’s time to set your clocks back. If you don’t do it at 2:00 a.m. it doesn’t count

My '03 S-class had a really clever clock and it would change it automatically.
And then they went and changed the F'ing date of the daylight savings time change.
So for a couple weeks it would be wrong and then right again a few weeks later.

Now they have a soft setting to pick what time zone you are and if DST is on or off.

That will be the same for me now too. Since I stopped working my night job I’m on a regular schedule of getting up ‘with the birds’. I’m usually up by 5:30 a.m. nowadays.

Oh hell, I'll have to leave the bar a little early.

You get your hopes up that things will be left alone and you can just deal with nature as God intended.
Then, somehow legislation fouls things up and we are left with this ridiculous make believe of time.

DST Duration: Approximately eight months. So ST is 4 months.
I hate changing the clocks twice a year, so I leave the clock in the kitchen set to DST all year.
That way I get to hear my kids bitch about how my clock is wrong. That's the way my kids say "I Love You"

Our region approved to stop changing the time throughout the year, I was so excited to hear it then I read the fine print. It will only take effect if Michigan and New York State follow suit. We need Americans to approve it now.
