My phone and watch auto update with the change.
Ironically I was up late enough last night watching videos to see the time change from 2:00 AM back to 1:00 AM but I didn't realize it.
I glanced at my watch when I went to bed and saw 1:05 AM.
" wow ok, it's not as late as I thought it was.... light dawns on marblehead....oh time change, well I don't have to get up in the morning anyways."

Cosmo, you're retired now right, you still use a clock?

I am retired but I guess I am a clock fiend. I have analog clocks all over the house, garage and shop. Some with neon. Cuckoo (only one cuckoo on the half hour and hour-no chimes for the hour) in the office next to the bedroom (funny how you can sleep through them but it somehow marks the time or watch period in the night intuitively, Dad’s old ship clock, radio controlled clocks in the bedroom and kitchen, German wind up clocks with bell and my inherited West German wall clock with all the chimes every 15 minutes.
All the digital clocks are 24:00 instead of the am/pm. My entire professional career had 24 hour clocks plus Zulu time. I have traveling analog clocks that you can rotate the bezel and it move only the hour hand. Perfect for pilots and frequent travelers.
I am hard wired to being on time. Absolutely. No deviations. Fused bombs on target on time. On time departure and arrival for passengers.
I have giant analog classic wrist watches from my Dad’s Seiko Gyro Marvel, and a host of other names.
I have a real bond with clocks.

The law is interesting. States have the ability to opt out of daylight savings time but then must be on standard time. If not, they must abide by Federal standards as far as the dates and times of springing forward and falling back.
Congress has been reluctant to pass anything as they see it as a state right issue. Who will pass a law that says it is the “Go to Work and hour early” law?
Instead it may be called Daylight protection law or something like that.

I am not holding my breath.

^ Cosmo, I would love to see many of your clocks.

Since you have so many clocks, do you manually change most of them twice a year? That would be quite the job!

Yeah my initial excitement has dwindled. I have no hope in our neighbours doing it any time soon.

Have any of you ever forgotten to adjust your clocks?

We have not.

Yesterday at the Y, one of the guys said he got to the gym an hour early. Yes, totally forgot to switch the clocks.

And if you have any batteries in your smoke detectors, now is the time to change them out.

I did the last one today which was in the Subaru. I leave the one in the S alone since it will be off the road for the winter soon.
