The younger one loves helping, the older one resents it, but it is how he earns money to do and buy the things he wants. He is now working toward skateboard camp for next summer.

This is the main reason we continue to do the lawncare ourselves. We think it is the best way we know of to teach the two of them some responsibility. They have to maintain the lawn through the spring, summer and fall and we "pay" them for it. I don't know if this will work or not, but we think we have to try.

Rob, ever thought about getting one of those leaf blowers that also vacuum? Might make your work a little easier...
