Ralper- Great home...I have a set of mulching blades on my Toro tractor, really chews up the leaves and is good for the soil.

Thank you.

My tractor is about 14 years old. I bought it when I had a house in upstate NY. I was made before the whole idea of mulching became popular and it doesn't have mulching capability. If I had it to do over, I'd buy a mulching deck. I've heard they are very good.

Great home and family, Rob! It looks like you put a lot of hard work into both! Good for you!

Speaking of that great kid, Adam, my buddy, do you think I could borrow him for a weekend to help me with my leaves. I'll run up in the S to pick him up after school Friday and bring him back Sunday (any excuse to drive). He really was a nice, happy young man, wasn't he? Way to work Ralper!

Rob,

I echo the comments about your place. It certainly is beautiful, and it's nice to see the whole family working together.

I, too, have a leaf "problem" and am considering getting one of these. My neighbor has a similar Sears vacuum/mulcher which I have borrowed for the last couple of years, but I think it's time I got my own. The nice thing about these is that they mulch the leaves to about a 7 to 1 ratio, so you have lots less bulk to contend with.

I am also considering the Gutter Helmet, since my gutters are constantly clogging up. I have never heard of anyone using them, so your experience is helpful.
