Rick noticed one of my bird feeders was getting tired. A tad broken on the bottom, exposing seed. This was Friday. I went on Amazon....the feeder showed up today. I'm still amazed by Amazon.

We've had a fair amount of activity. The usual suspects, and the juncos are back in town. We only seem to get the occasional Blue Jay and I grabbed a shot of one today.

Today I noticed that my feeder is in need of some TLC. I took it in and am getting ready to paint the rusted metal parts. I hope the birds can wait till next weekend for food.

I should buy some peanuts for the blue jays..........

I feed the sunflower, and one mix that has sunflower, safflower, and some cherries. All feeders get emptied, and probably would with just plain old sunflower, but I feel like I'm giving the birds a "treat" if I mix in some of the fancier stuff. They probably don't even notice or care.

Bought the cat a new bed yesterday......like she doesn't already have a ton of comfortable places to sleep. Lately she's parked herself in front of the heating vent, so we think she needs to be comfortable.....it's not a carpeted area.

I did and they have! Got a couple of good (I think) shots before work this AM. Hope to share them tonight. Nice way to start my day.

Not tack sharp, but not bad for first attempt as he/she landed on the deck rail to grab peanuts.

Love the Blue Jays and set out peanuts for them every morning. Lately the Jays have been outsmarted by Crows that appear very early. Here’s what awaited my peanut distribution this morning. At least ten others appeared after some Crow communications.
