Teenage boys and dogs are kings of the fart though!
And since there's a 13 year old hiding in every one of us, we're all deadly.

I guess it depends on whether you are the giver or the receiver. But, the expression, "it's better to give than receive" implies added weight to being the giver!

In any case equalizing pressure is best done in a solitary state so as not to offend those in close proximity. Now, pass the Chili please!

One of my (relatively few) clear memories from elementary school concerns this solemn topic.

One day, maybe it in was 6th or 7th grade, some poor soul ripped off a long, probably very satisfying, one. Of course, the entire class got the giggles.

What we also got was a stern lecture from the teacher about bodily functions and how they were perfectly natural and how, if we were going to behave like adults, we should not treat them as sources of amusement and weren't we ashamed of ourselves for behaving like a bunch of little kids?

And then someone ripped off another one, perhaps intentionally this time.

The world stood still for a little while.

And finally the teacher cracked up.

It was beautiful. HPH

One of the less advertised aspects of the aging process -- I find myself more jet-propelled these days.

OMG TMI, TMI!

Informative though. Now I know who I shall accept a ride from someday and to whom I will say, no thanks, I'll catch a cab.

This just got me wondering. How do you handle such delicate (read deadly) things when you're single and does that change once you get married? I can't remember.
Unless you're planning on dating someone very young, I can't imagine that anyone would be ungentlemanly enough to acknowledge such things (until after you get married and then they are fair game!).

Okay, okay, I'll go back and edit my posts but I thought air was lighter than water.
