No, no need to edit! Let it all out! Just warn me if I'm downwind.

That's a good one, Lainey. I missed whatever it was that she said, but knowing G-rod, it had be wild.

Val, it's saved for posterity in my quoted response to her.

You know what's the worst thing about farts, of course. That's when you're afraid to let it out because you don't know if it'll leave a mark.

This may be a little TMI but I'll go for it anyway in case anyone else has a similar problem they may be unaware of.

So, I've had gut issues for years and was told that I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). (I had a colonoscopy in my 40s just to be sure it wasn't something worse.) It's unpredictable and I just live with it. But then, I noticed 2 days ago that things were much better and I wondered why. The only thing I could think of was that I haven't been eating the South Beach Living Crispy Meal Bars lately. So I read the label and found they contain a sugar substitute called MALTITOL SYRUP and plain MALTITOL. I looked it up on the interent and found out that it has some very nasty side effects like stomach gurgling, grinding and gas. Ah ha!

^^ I read something about sugar alcohols causing digestive issues for a lot of people. I try to stay away from anything like that. I've had IBS all my adult life. It must be hereditary as my son has probs as well. For a long time I took meds that helped calm it down. I don't have as much trouble since I've gotten older, but in my late 20s and 30s it was almost debilitating.

Oh but there was one more....something about needing to be alone in her car on her commute, vs a car pool.
