I just found out that Grant (fltsfshr) died in November 2023.

I had been wondering why we never saw any posts from him for a while.

Don't know any details, but i assume the cause of death was heart issues.

I miss his grumpiness here!

Wow…sorry to hear this. I was going to go by his store when we were in Naples but did not have time. He was a character.

I tend to think about the day I disappear off this earth and my presence on a few forums just stops. I'm not sure anyone would really notice. Mark was very brave to face his challenges before he passed and let everyone know. I've seen some family members go onto forums and announce the passing of their loved one through their screen name. Others just pass away and you never know what happened.

Sorry to hear of this, I do recall some of his posts, though I didn't know much about him. May he RIP.

Does surprise me that he had no obituary. He and Susan were well known in the area and in Key West.

Thanks for letting us know. I will sure miss Grant and his Grant-Rants. For some reason I expected him to outlive me.

So sorry to hear this. When we would go to Naples Grant and I would meet for coffee at the cafe next to his business. It was called Bad Ass Coffee. I asked him if they named it after him. He was a character, pony tail and he dressed like a surfer, He took me for a ride in his new C7 Vette, then let me drive it. We didn’t go this year or last year or I would have known. RIP friend.

If nothing else, I think Grant enjoyed life.
I know we had a few verbal tiffs over in politics. I've missed the repartee.
