Picked up a jar of Blackberry Jam at Rural King.
Got home and took 2 slices of white bread, spread on some Skippy, a thick layer of blackberry jam and 2 slices of Kraft American.
That is a sandwich I love to eat.

Peanut butter is part of my breakfast almost daily. On toast, in cereal or with a banana.

We rarely tip less than 20% Even if servers are getting a few dollars more due to the many price increases at restaurants, given the cost of everything I'm ok with leaving 20%. If the bill is for inexpensive breakfast at my favorite cafe I'll bump it up a bit more.

I really like a rustic blackberry jam with lots of pulp (not the jelly version), lately I have been getting a really good black currant jam too, really good

Hum, cheese on PB&J. That doesn't even sound good.

Try one you'll like it. Bread, cheese, fruit and peanut butter. What's not to like?

This was good too.

September is my favorite time of year in Colorado and this one has been the best! It's been so colorful and the nights are cooling off. We've had rain once or twice a week and it's still green! This is the wettest year I've had since I moved here 6 years ago and it's wonderful except for the fact that the mosquitoes lasted through August and we still have a crazy amount of grasshoppers. Did you know that grasshoppers will eat other dead grasshoppers? There are dead grasshoppers all over the streets from cars smashing them and then they're always live grasshoppers on top of them which I believe are eating the dead ones. In any case, I love this year's September. We had very little smoke from fires and I don't know if it ever hit 100 this summer. Seems like we'll have another snowy and wet winter spring. I don't have a problem with it except for the fricking mosquitoes. But I do tend to escape to Socal when I can't take any more brown.

I prefer the Elvis sandwich. Peanut butter, jelly, mayonnaise and a banana.

I'll try that. I've had peanut butter & banana before but with honey in them. I have a bottle of Dukes mayo in the fridge. Peanut butter cheese & French's mustard is great too.

My wife made some Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches for lunch. We spread some German horseradish mustard on toasted sourdough sandwich bread and topped it with meat, onion, green pepper and cheese. It was quite good.
