The bread is in the machine doing its thing. I made one mistake. Turned it on and it's supposed to beep when it's time to add whatever to the knead cycle. But I put the setting on bread instead of mix bread. So no beep. I was standing right there and the cycle went to rise. I threw the olives in anyway and it appears I will have bread with them on the outside. Different...

Just had a chicken sandwich with the olive bread. Wow...it is really good. This combined with the molasses cookies I made the other day are not conducive to joining LB's weight loss thread. At least the gumbo will be fairly healthy, except for the Andouille sausage.

At least all the bread flour wasn't white...I used two cups white and one cup wheat. Maybe next time I'll do all wheat flour.

I need to go to the store before the NFL games and buy a few missing ingredients for my green chili. I’ll make it in several stages between half times and serve it up tomorrow with my friends during the Bronco/Steeler game. Chili is always better after a days rest; it helps with the flavor infusion. I'm leaving for the store now.

I've got one slice of Stouffer's frozen pizza in the freezer and a 1/4 lb of angel hair in the cupboard along with 3 cans of tuna at home.
