Ribs and loins went on at 9 so we're a little over halfway there. It would be hard to finish them on the way unless I put them on the exhaust manifold of the Crosstour.

Blackeyed peas and greens are simmering on the stove and Barb's about to make some cole slaw. We'll make a pan of cornbread later on and then it's just football and waiting for family and guests to show up. Dinner's around 4 if anyone can make it.

Yum...didn't get to the Hoppin John today. Too many leftovers. I made chicken tetrazzini with the leftover chicken from the soup. I expect it will be delicious.

stranger. I still pop in every once in a while. Don't steal all of Val's Spanish moss like you did with mine. And as always, keep an eye out for those Peeping Toms.

We ate like little pigs yesterday. Unfortunately Jim and I got into the hoppin' john. It was a tad too spicy!

Lots of tetrazzini left over - it was very yummy.

I wish you'd send some of that my way! I love tetrazzini. I put on a pot of vegetable soup this morning. We'll have vegetable soup with cheese biscuits today. Its a rainy dreary day and we're listening to classical music and lazing around the house today. Don't even know if we'll venture out.

Getting the makings for the bean soup today. Can't make it until tomorrow, though, since the beans have to soak. But we will be having my famous bean dip later for the ballgames - bean w/bacon soup, shredded cheddar cheese and salsa heated in a pan. It's easy and delish!! We eat it with Fritos.

Making more of that yummy coleslaw today to have with pork chops tomorrow. The +1 wants pea soup next, but I don't like it. So we are still in negotiations.

Beer cheese soup day fltsfshr style.

Made with white sharp cheddar, corona light, some diced red peppers with a little heat in them and some minced conch.

MMMM
