Our daughter and her two kids (a girl 16 and a boy 14) made homemade pasta together a few days ago.

Her husband got her a pasta machine last year for Mother's Day, and this was the first time she used it.

Tonight will be the first Friday Donna's cooked a meal at home in perhaps several years. The next few weeks are going to fun . . .

What do you want for dinner?
I don't care, whatever.
Give me some idea, I'm sick of trying to come up with ideas.

They video called us and gave us a demonstration and then sent us a photo of their plate full of spaghetti.

Maybe in a few months they’ll be able to invite us over for a real spaghetti dinner. In the meantime, we’ll have to be satisfied with a virtual one.

Oh yeah, my mother makes the best home made ravioli. I would even eat a few of them raw when she would be making them at home as they were so fresh. lol

That's all we would have if she had her way . . . I too love popcorn but 9 out of 10 times I hate it because it's stale, etc.

So, aren't you one of our hoity-toity vintage members who has a popcorn popper? I've looked for them since I read how great they make popcorn but I haven't been willing to fork over the money yet. I've only seen them on Amazon. I keep buying Pop Secret and think it's good.

there is nothing like fresh pasta. totally different dish than the dry crap.
might be an idea for this weekend. We have a ktichenaide power head attachment.
just have to remember where the drying racks are.
cooking it is interesting since it won't sink very well, you have to keep pushing it down.
