Found Harry Cash In A Savagegeese Video
With the car talk thread on the 2022 BRZ peaking my interest , I was going through some Savagegeese videos of the 1st gen BRZ . I really enjoy the Savagegeese videos on many of the vehicles he has reviewed. In this video I came across our friend Harry Cash who shows up in his S2000. It was nice to see him after reading many of his posts on S2ki over the years. It is also a cool video and I love Harry's S2000. Knowing what Harry has been through in past years you really get a sense of how much of a car guy he is. It's an older video and maybe some of you have seen it, but this was my first time viewing it. If you haven't seen it enjoy:

Oh my, I enjoyed the video. Seeing Harry was neat. Good man. Good driver. But it should have been Harry driving it at Gingerman, my old home track. Damn I miss those days. It was clear from the video that the BRZ was no S2000 at the track. I will forgo my story with Harry at Gingerman for another time. Seeing that track again had me smiling ear to ear as I was in 2008 (could it be that long ago), when this photo was taken by a young college kid who I met at the track that day.

^ That is fantastic, great picture.
I love love love Gingerman. I think I've mentioned it before that I was chosen to head up the yearly ClubSi Gingerman Raceway event back in the late 90's and early 2000's. I rented the track and invited 60 of our ClubSi members to join in. It was quite the chore living in a different country and it was all done by snail mail. Those were great times. I had some great pictures taken of myself on the track as well.
I have only known Harry from his posts on S2k and some pm's we have exchanged, but you quickly find out how much of an enthusiast he is, and the video just adds to that. I always admired his S2000, one of the best modified S2000's on the forum, the mods were very tasteful and meticulously done.

Gee, I forgot about that video. I have not actually seen Mark since we did that video a few years back. He's an interesting young man. I met him through another S2000 owner who was his neighbor. The other owner, Lee, is that of Tail of the Dragon fame for having driven his car off of the cliff in '06 or '05.
This is what Lee's car looked like after it was hauled up the mountain.

Wow, that is an interesting tidbit of information about Lee, looked like one crazy accident , I guess he escaped without injury ? I want to think that Mark attended a lapping day event I had at Gingerman Raceway back in the early 2000's , but I am not entirely sure, I just recall seeing him and his car at an event. Good to hear from you Harry.

Some photos I saved from those early S2000 days. This may have been the second accident. Or a completely different one. In any case, the S2000 is a really safe car given its no tin top.
