Default Fun with your brain...

Your brain is hard wired in such a way as to recognize potential
matches to familiar objects, this is how optical illusions work......

But did yiu konw taht aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at an Elingsh
uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are,
the olny iprmoetnt tihng is taht frist and lsat ltteer is at the rghit pclae.
The rset can be a toatl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit porbelm.
Tihs is bcuseae we do not raed ervey lteter by it slef but the wrod as
a wlohe.

Cool eh?

Very kool. I had zreo problem raeding teh paragraf.

I have always had a problem spotting individual spelling and grammatical errors. About 15 years ago someone gave me a test that had the person count the number of time the word 'of' appeared in a paragraph. I missed half of them. As it turns out, not only do some people 'fix' the spelling but they can easily 'fix' the grammatical errors as they read, especially if they read their own work. Math is a very different matter. Zero problems there!

Very interesting. I find that when I proofread something I miss many of the errors. I wonder if this is why.

Ms. Perky,

My company's lawyers tell me that all the time. If you can't find a coherrent thought in the paragraph I wrote, feel free to rearrange the words until you find one.
