Not being a parent I do not feel qualified to voice my two cents. As I am the "perfect" parent on paper!

However, I must state that I do not recall a subject in the year + that I have been here that reaped such long and thoughful responses. Rob, you have out done yourself in thinking up new threads that provoke thought and generates debate. Thank you.

With that out of the way I am reminded of one of my favorite Mark Twain quotes:

"When I was twelve my father was so stupid I was embarassed to introduce him to my friends. By the time I was twenty-one, I was amazed at how much he had learned!"

Thanks for putting the comma in the correct place with the way that you worded this. I don't enjoy it when people type that response as:

You are (a) welcome Matt (get it?*)

* that was for someone who's nick starts with a "G".
