Gettysburg Get Together - Things to bring with you
Things you should bring when you attend the Gettysburg Get Together:
1. A FRS radio tuned to channel 4. That's the official channel and it will allow you to stay up to date on the drive.
2. Suntan lotion. It may be late September but it will definitely be hot and the sun will definitely burn you if you aren't careful.
3. A hat (see above)
4. A light jacket. It can get cool at night.
5. An umbrella or light rain coat...just because
And non-physical things you should definitely bring:
1. Your friendship. Lots of really great people to meet and hang out with.
2. Your appetite. You know how much I like food and I like to share it with friends.
3. Your sense of humor. Just because once again (and some of those night BS sessions can be brutal
)
4. Your thirst to learn new things. Denny (Looter) and Sharon (Weezy) know more about the Civil War than most historians. Now's a great time to learn more about this battle that helped to bring the US together again)
5. Your sense of awe. What else can it be but awe inspiring when you think of the sacrifices made by both the North and the South and what it meant for this country.
