I have the movie coming (Gettyburg) but I think I'll pass on the book.
We just watched the movie. I'm telling ya, read the book. It made the movie come alive even more.

I PROMISE you won't be bored with the book. Would I lie to you?

I keep looking but being that history is my least favorite subject, I just look without comment.
I'm with you. I grew up in an area with way more Civil War battlefields than necessary. After the first 6 grades of school, you get statue and history overload.

Bingo!

There's a similar monument uphill from Den but the projecting barrel of the rifle has been broken off for many years....

I don't think you'd lie to me. If you did I don't think you could keep a straight face. Okay, I'm thinking about reading the book. I don't want to fall asleep in Phil's NSX. How long is the book?

It's not very long at all. I finished it again last night, so I can't tell you how many pages.

Correct.

There will be NO test or NO book report due if you don't like it, you can quit reading it.
