Default Glock Glock

My wife and I just bought two Glock 19 4gen pistols. We're going target shooting.

We used to do that. Another hobby reborn.

Anyone else shoot on here?

Bang, Bang!
Congratulations on the Glocks. Great choice.

My son and I have set up an outdoors range in Colorado. I practice mostly with a Beretta 9mm, and Nick also likes his 22 long rifle with scope and my vintage Savage 30-30. We also have a couple of other fire arms that we like to shoot.

I've got several Glock's, in .40 & .45 Cal., but don't get a chance to shoot as much as I'd like too. My favorite handgun to shoot is a Sig Sauer, have a P229 (.40 cal) and a P228 (9mm). The Sig is way more comfortable in the hand!

Yes, target shooting is great fun and my wife and I try and get to the range at least once a Month.

Own a Glock 27, cannot go wrong with that make of auto. For Target shooting I use my Kimber Crimson 11 in .45 cal.

Got a Springfield XD 9mm...... keep talking about getting to the range, but haven't found the time...

Need to do that!

If the range is outdoors, also will take along the 22 rifle w/scope.

Glocks are good guns, but they just feel wrong in my hand, but that's no matter, if you like it and it feels good to you, that's all that matters! I just respect and admire people who are into firearms.

The handgun I'm looking at is the Ruger SR9C.

I have been around firearms my entire life, mostly rifles though

Here is a pic of my pride an joy, it's in awesome condition
The M1 Garand is the very first gun I ever shot, and at 13 this bad boy knocked me right off my feet
The Bayonet and the Strap are recent additions, along with another clip, all of them 100% original
I have a lot of experience behind this thing, and let me tell ya, the things I can pick off at 300 to 500 yards is downright amazing
I will never get tired of the awesome blast and feeling of power when that 30.06 slug lets go...
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the 30.06, the cartridge is about 0.5" in diameter and about 3.4" long, just about exactly the size of my middle finger, which is kind of ironic, because when ya pull the trigger on this thing, you are indeed flipping off the thing you just aimed at
My Daddy was an enlisted Naval Officer in WWII, although this is not his exact service rifle, it is exactly why it is in the family, I think it is the very first firearm Dad bought when he came home from the war

I shoot, but since the weather has taken a turn for the better I find myself busy about the house more than I do at the range.

As far as Glocks are concerned, I have a 3rd gen Glock 19.
