I had no idea there were so many trigger happy folks on this site. My uncle Sam loaned me one but I gave it back four years later.

I agree. How about an extreme viewpoint from the next generation. A 3 min. clip from an Austin,TX PBS interview with Ted Nugent.

God help us if Nugent is the representative of the next generation. He is from MI and actually had a store in my area. He is one loose cannon. Does some of the stuff he spouts off make sense, sure but I suspect he's fostered more harm than good. People like Timothy McVeigh, Terry Nichols, and all the other nut jobs who consider themselves marksmen with contempt for the federal government hang on every word.

Same here, Dave. I carried a .38 in a shoulder holster when I was flying over unfriendly territory in Vietnam, but turned it in when I left and haven't carried nor fired any weapon since.
