Yes. It certainly is. Thanks. Do you know off hand what added features you are getting over the C330?

Santa must like you.

[/QUOTE]Look again on other sites. I know mine came from Amazon. It's the Nuvi 350. There are other Nuvi's which are more expensive, but mine seems to do everything I need.
My brother in law just bought one for around $430.00. The Nuvi does announce the street name before the turn. Since I can't find my way out of a paper bag on my own, the GPS should be a great help.
That c340 is a really nice unit. I looked at gpsonsale and they're offering it with the version 8 maps for $379.99. Apparently you do have to subscribe to a service for the traffic delay thing.

I have that same problem, Lainey
. It is incredibly nice to be able to flick a few buttons on that lovely little touch screen and arrive on time with no problem. I
my little Garmin and I truly appreciate Rob for recommending Garmin to me. I'd have probably gotten a Magellan (which is probably great as well), but I lovvvvve my Garmin. We named her Betty (for . . . what else? Betty Boop). Our son loves Magellan, but after a trip he took with his dad last year he bought a new Garmin.
Santa & I went shopping tonight. She liked the C340; so I quess that's the one.
Update: Done. Ordered C340 from GPSonSale for $398 w/shipping. Thanks Val & everyone for all the advice. It was $19 less at BuyeRetail but I elected to use the first site.
