pa I'm not one to try and force my views on anyone. I wish you and your family all the best during what must be a very trying time. I will say a prayer for your brother, and for you.
By the way: God loves hypocrites too! If he had wanted to make us perfect he would have....

 

To make my personal story short, my father was supposed to be dead by now. He was diagnosed with lung cancer and secondary cancer in the liver in December of last year. His pill pushing dolt of a personal physician told him to go home and die. He changed physicians and started chemo with the oncologist. He had a very tough time for three months or so, but they changed his chemo mix and he started doing better. He just had a CT scan that shows marked improvement. Where he had only been sleeping and sitting, he is now doing much of his regular routine again.

Yeah, I think there's a point where it would be nice to say that's it, I'd like to go now. Problem is, it's often not clear when that point is.

 

I've told my wife, if I'm in a cronic vegetative state with no end in site after 6 months, pull the plug. If I was ever on life support/ventilator for more than 3 months, pull the plug. When it comes to terminal disease, well, I just don't know. I hope I never do. Some times I think the A.H.s of the world make a pact with the devil to die in their sleep. I've seen so many good people suffer so much before being released.
