Happy Father's Day
For the past 25 years or more I have spent every Fathers Day doing the same thing in the same location! I'll be on a small inland lake, 340A, in northern Michigan on a small 12' boat with my trusty 7.5 Johnson and light tackle. We will be fishing catch & release for smallmouth bass (great fighters) on a lake we will have almost entirely to ourselves!

Both our dads are gone and to be honest, I kind of forgot Father's day is this weekend. Rick is not one to like much of a fuss over this kind of thing, so we'll probably hang at home, or go for a ride in the "S".
My son probably will stop by, but since he's now a father himself, we tell him not to worry about it, just enjoy the day with his own family.

My best Father's Day memory is when my 5 1/2 year old daughter and 3 1/2 year old son decided on their own to make me breakfast in bed. I got a plate with 2 eggs (still in shell) and 3 pieces of uncooked bacon with toast and coffee. When I asked why the bacon wasn't cooked my daughter replied with much seriousness, "Daddy, we aren't supposed to use the stove." I still get a huge smile from that.
