I just installed my hardtop, those of you that did it yourself did you use the new strikers that came with it ? I did not and was wondering if it makes any difference.
And no i havent noticed any extra wind noise.

 

Original strikers, no problems here.

you can use either....but if i recall though, there was a TSB (recall) on 2000-2001 AP1 strikers.

they updated the part.

 

Why don't you ask Hardtopguy.com Jeff would know. Mine is an 01 so they had to be changed.
