Default strikers for hardtop?

I bought a used hardtop from a s2ki member but he never sent me the strikers. I read somewhere that newer strikers are more secure and reduces wind noise. I'm thinking of buying some new strikers from hardtopguy but b4 I do that I got a question.

Some time ago I got my TSB done for rattling striker . I searched and someone said that newly designed strikers were used in later MY2001 vehicles. Is this true? I think I already got those new strikers from TSB fix. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks,
Jae

I just looked at my repair invoice from 2002 and found that TSB fix replaced original strikers for hardtop strikers. Do I still need to buy strikers for the hardtop? Thanks!

No you don't. The "hardtop" strikers are the same strikers that come on all cars since that TSB was introduced.

I'm more curious how you managed to get the hard top "Under the Hood".
