Has anyone else noticed how dead it is in here?

Where did everyone go? Sometimes I think I'm talking to myself, though it would not be the first time.

Are folks scared off by the upgrade? Traveling the world? Installing new computers? Just having fun elsewhere??? Busy with grandkids? (Not sure where else to use that smiley) Gone fishing?

 

Funny that u would post this, Lainey....as I'm just back today for the first time in a week or two. Hey, it's tough when you're not working to organze your day to include s2ki. When I was still working (back in end of 2007 ), it was nice to be PAID to surf the web.

Actually, I do a lot of "chat" via email with my s2ki friends on a one-on-one basis....sometimes more gratifying I have the emails of at least 25 s2ki folks....from Cali to Wyo to the Carolinas...even one in N Zealand and a couple in Europe.

Then there are those folks [like Lainey S] who spend a lot of their time on Facebook and other social network sites...

Seriously, I think there are more who just come here a couple times per week; see little new content; and go away scratching their head. The poor roll-out of the site "upgrades" surely did not help matters.

I go over to offtopic once in a while, and I see that posts only half way down the page are getting old. Nobody is posting over there either. I think it's the look of the upgrade, for one. Maybe springtime for another.

 

I think that is the biggest reason for the drop off.
