I know. I was just stirring the pot a bit hoping to get some response.

Don't tell Barb. I don't want her smacking me when I meet her some day.

I get weary of posting to dead air. I get weary of the same ole, same ole type of posts. I'd like to see more discussion instead of just random stuff. We need some good meaty material that will evoke more interest, yet I'm all out of ideas. I find the same to be true with books, movies, and food.

I imagine most meaty discussions are taking place in the Politics sub forum. At least in general section, we are all very civil.

I'm happy about your continued employment as well, MsP.

@Honda 367: Maybe you're right, but I tend to doubt the subforum has a lot going on. I venture in occasionally and don't find anything exciting.

My nephew and a bunch of classmates got on airplane (or maybe a bus, but they're starting from Denver so I think they're flying) at 3am for a field trip to Washington, and I'm sure the teachers (or chaperones, or whatever) are all relieved to have the museums open. What would you do with 40 ninth-graders otherwise? Laps around the Mall? "OK, kids, one more time around...don't straggle there!" HPH
