I did have the option Lainey. I decided I'd sleep better in my own house on a recliner instead of having my blood pressure taken every 4 hours while listening to noise the whole night and sleeping on some hard hospital bed. I've been dozing on and off, listening to my wind chimes outside and I love that sound.

I get it...hope you are comfortable. Can you/have you made arrangements for help after surgery? Having use of only one arm is a tad inconvenient..... opening pill bottles or a bottle of water, pouring a glass of juice, or keeping ice on the surgical site can be a major challenge.

Hmmm.. Patricia perhaps it's time we had a chat.
It may have escaped your attention but I will point out you are no longer 17.
The implication is you do not bounce anymore.
now let me clearly express I understand the sentiment as there are many times I think I am only 13.

You are now a welcome member of the titanium club. No IDs are required, just a copy of your X-ray showing your titanium.

I know the pain sucks but please don't get to attached to that Vicodan.
but get better soon.

I had on two long sleeve thermal tops under that coat. Still managed to get a bloody elbow even though the coat wasn't torn. It was a clean coat when I put it on. My helmet has no scratches but the right glove had a little tear.

Wow, Patti. So sorry to hear about your accident. Pain sucks and you are no doubt enduring more than your fair share.

Here's hoping for a smooth surgery and a reasonably speedy recovery.

Okay, party pooper on the no photos. You finally came up with something I wouldn't take pictures of even if I could. My right upper arm and shoulder is very swollen and black and blue. Thank you for catching my spelling mistake. I knew it wasn't funny but I was in too much pain to think clearly.

You did not mention the ribs again. I hope they are just bruised. I know ribs can be very painful. I think they just tape the area?

They didn't see anything too concerning on the x-rays. When I take a deep breath my sternum hurts a bit.
