I can't believe someone would do this

I can't believe all the carping here. Oh, I know I'm in the vintage forum but still.

I would never spend the money, time, and energy it took to do something like that but I still think its kind of cool that somebody would.

Anybody here spent countless hours and dollars restoring an old english sports car even though it has the steering acuracy of a flexible flyer, accelerates slower than anything from Kia, rides like buckboard, and has all the dependability of a teenage 7/11 clerk? I expect some people would consider that a little wierd.

I don't think the car is actually driven with that camber. Not very far, at least.

btw just so nobody thinks I am a raving hip-hopper...here is my idea of what works on an accord...

What a total waste of time, energy, talent, creativity and money. At least with the old British sports car you end up with something worth having. In this case they started with something worth having and ended up with junk.

I could never understand people who do this type of thing but then there is a wide generation gap. I do respect people's creativity and imagination, however.

The creativity aspect of what was done was definitely first class by the looks of it. Unfortunately it was wasted on something that is apparently useless.

It's all just rubber bands - right?

As a kid who grew up love'n cool customs I think todays kids have just taken it to a different level. Not my thing but then I don't think my dad was too impressed with hood flames, moon hub caps, chop & channeled bodies, and the like.
