Feel better soon. Sorry to hear you will miss that meet. "Life is what happens while you are making plans."

Thanks. Yeah, I'm really bummed about it.

Update: I've been self meditating: Norco doesn't do squat. Not worth bothering with. Jack Daniel's helps (a lot). Icing a lot and chiropractor three times a week: electrical stim and cold laser. The pain gets so intense Anne Marie has to pull me out of bed in the morning. And no gym, which really sucks. And no Corvette rally to Solvang on Saturday.

Sorry for your injury and pain. Sounds bad. I might check with an MD.

I agree, a chiropractor in your situation would be my last option. I only had one I trusted and on more than one occasion he would say I'm not touching you in that condition. He did give me some exercises for my worn out shoulders that helped a lot and have kept me from going under the knife.

I don't agree with you guys on this. I've been seeing my chiropractor for many years. He has helped me a lot. Right now he's giving me electrical stimulation, cold laser, and taping the ribs. I have no doubt that it's doing me a lot of good.

Wishing you well!
I once had 11 broken ribs (2 punctured my right lung) plus a completely severed sternum that popped with each inhale.
They didn't fix it, but it was very painful and took a number of weeks/months to heal. Couldn't laugh, cough, curse, or even yell!
The human body is pretty amazing!

Yeah, broken clavicle, total hip replacement, anal surgery, colon and bladder surgery, broken rib. And that doesn't count three knee surgeries (and then severing my AC ligament), two shoulder surgeries, separated ribs, compound toe fracture, three Mohs skin cancer surgeries, three series of epidural injections for lower back pain (none of which worked).

Well, I was referring to Jim, but you might qualify, too.
