Hopefully I will loose some pounds as well.
I agree with the walking plan. As long as the joints can handle it, it is the best thing. Ever think about another dog?

To me it just looks like the swings are getting wider. I'd say good job.

Oh Patty. Don't ask about baked goods. Nothing good will come of it.

My friend's doctor told him "if it tastes good...don't eat it."

OK, I won't post anymore about the bad stuff. And yes, Patty, baked goods are really evil.

I do walk 30 to 40 minutes every day with our dog, which is a small step in the right direction.

Mea Culpa. We have this great little local bakery in our town on the other side of the river, Katie's, where they make cinnamon rolls that are almost 200% better than Cinabon. I had one for dinner last night. That's right! That's all I had for dinner last night. Evil deep in the heart of the local bakery.

I did wash it down with bottled water. That was healthy and non-fattening. For my penance today, all I had for lunch was a stuffed artichoke.

So, I began my weight loss quest for real yesterday. I've heard that the results of such diets, when strictly adhered to, are quite remarkable. We shall see. One plus, I found out that gin martinis have 0 carbs, so I can still have my daily happy hours!

The really tough part is I have to give up pasta, bread, chips, etc. High fat foods are allowed, though.
Gin and Diet Tonics here for Happy Hour. Low cal, but the accompanying food is not.

Well, my normal happy hour is at home, so no food to tempt me!

One of my coworkers is dealing with A-fib.
His cardiologist put him on a 1,000 calories a day.
He is still surprisingly good natured. but he's down 80 lbs. with another 60 to go.
