Hang in there, Bill.

Did anyone see that little kid on the news who crochets like crazy? If I had his hobby, and kept my mind busy and hands busy in the evening, maybe I would not snack. If I could do the fasting thing from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. maybe, just maybe I'd kick off a few. I am not motivated enough yet.... Maybe I could see a hypnotist who would make me believe that snack foods and chocolate taste awful.....

That is why my evening exercise is so helpful. Not only does it burn off calories, it keeps me from consuming more calories. By the time I'm done, I'm not hungry and it is easy to resist for the remainder of the night. Not a lot of people copy my method so I guess I am a bit unique in this regard.

I have never been a morning person so eating late at night is norm for me. In fact, last night while watching the tape of the Red Wings getting hammered (8-1) I had a Jack Daniels plus two fajita's about 10:30 or 11pm. Weighed in today and I'd lost 2 pounds since yesterday. Go figure. Dieting is really weird. I was really happy; it's been 13 days since I first hit this number.

We all know you are unique! I can't get motivated to exercise at home at all, or in the evening. My best time is in the AM (on a day off) or right after work. If a class is at 6:00 PM or later, I'm just not into it. So I do have too much down time in the evening. Rick's exercise time is now 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. He's happy with that routine on a winter's day. Once he's back to playing with the yard and his cars, that will change.

I think you're wierd. So am I. Not really. We're normal for ourselves. I had my eggs, cheese, avocado dinner at about 8 PM with two corn tortillas. While I watched Christopher Robin I had around 6 Hershey Nuggets and a Myer's rum drink with fizzy flavored water. I am once again at my lowest morning weight, today: 160.4 lbs. Come on, 159!

Can't wait to break into the 180's. Should be there with the next weigh-in. Gave up soda, beer, pizza, pasta and bread. Weight is coming off easily w/o exercise. I miss the pizza, but not much else.

Looks like I'll have to add weight to the autocross car this season to stay legal. Gotta like that!

I finally broke the decade, this morning!

^2-28-2019. It's been many years since I've seen that 15_ when I weighed myself in the morning.

I also finally hit 1,000,000 feet of elevation gain in the Global ElliptiGO Riders Club on Tuesday, 2-26-2019. As of today, I am 11th on the elevation gain list at, 1,000,267 feet, and 20th in mileage at 15,591 miles. I am the first woman in the club to hit the one million feet of gain. Thee are 197 people on the list.

Here's a question. Am I only one who thinks we're doing better this year?

Congratulations, Patty. I always love seeing the new decade. I'm getting closer to the one you just left and I'm very eager to see it.

I've been very good so far today. I hope to keep it up all day and get on the treadmill and elliptical tonight for an epic workout.

Tomorrow I have my final post-surgical follow-up exam. I also hope my doctor clears me for abdominal exercises like crunches and weight lifting. I have to say that skin is kinda hanging from me on my arms. I need to try to get some muscles in there!
