Default iPod touch

I've owned two iPods and enjoyed them. They bring me music wherever I am.

This week I decided to purchase the new iPod touch model which now comes with 64GB of memory. It has flash memory, so it will be more reliable than my other iPods with their hard drives, and it is capacious enough to store my entire digital music collection.

The iPod touch also has wi-fi connectivity and the Safari browser. I can surf the Internet at work, home, and in some cafes. It has an email program (connects with gmail), so now I can also read and write email from the iPod when I am connected on the Internet.

I've also marvel at the diversity of apps available at their apps store. (one article I read said they now have 85,000 different apps) Right now, I most enjoy the Internet music apps such as Pandora,Slacker, and I heart radio. With these music sources, I don't even need to listen to my Sirius stations (except when they broadcast Michigan amd 49er football games).

The reason why I didn't just get an iPhone is that I already have a Verizon cell phone, and I didn't want to pay extra for a data plan, on top of the regular cell phone charges.

Anyone else have an iPod touch or iPhone?

Dennis, we have 2 Iphones a 8 gb itouch and a 16gb itouch. I could not imagine my daily routine without one.

Best electronic device EVER!

Speaking of email I check my 6 email account every 1/2 hour with it and it returns new emails within 15 seconds of the query for any of the accounts as it does the all simultaneously suffice to say my plus 1 and I could not live without our Apple devices

I don't even wear an 'effin watch. These days I only want to be found when I am willing to be found. Nevertheless, those Ipods are quite the gizmo.
