I don't even wear an 'effin watch. These days I only want to be found when I am willing to be found. Nevertheless, those Ipods are quite the gizmo.
Me either, except at my volunteer job where I need to write down the time when a doctor comes out. But then, cell phones always have the time.

Uh, no, I don't have one and I don't need one bcz my +1 has one.

Besides, I'm sure you know that even if I had one, I wouldn't be able to figure out how to use it.

Oh, and another thing, I especially would not need anything so capacious (I learned a new word this morning) to store my "entire digital music collection" of zero.

Oh, and just one more thing, I probably wouldn't be able to read my e-mail very well on it because the font is so small, and these vintage eyes are not so good.

However, I'm glad that you will probably enjoy it very much.

I shun all these devices, except once every five years when I get a new cell phone. Then I am far more concerned with service than apps and always go with Verizon which does not have the i-devices.

I think they are all the devil. People spend too much money and time on them. Plus, I see these people walking around with ear buds in, unaware of others shouting at them to get their attention. Someday I'm sure I'll see someone walking into a train while everyone is yelling "watch-out!!"

I have no problem going through life without musical accompaniment. I just listen to the voices inside my head.

Dennis, I'm not too sure I know what you are speaking of.

I think the new gadgets are pretty cool, but I really have no need for them. We have cell phones, that's it. Even at that, I often leave it in the car or my purse when we are somewhere. I don't feel the need to be that connected. I rarely text and I don't send pictures.

I don't have a lap top when I travel, but I would not mind one of those little net books, as that looks small enough to not be a PIA, and it would enable me to stay in touch with family when we are away.

I agree with Bill, folks spend too much time on these things. Nothing annoys me more than seeing folks out to dinner with one party yapping on the cell phone or texting someone who is not there. If it's THAT important, leave the table and come back when you are ready to spend time with the people you are out with.

John, Rick doesn't wear a watch either, never has.

Verizon is making a hard push to get the iPhone. The rumor mill is saying somtime 2nd or 3rd Q 2010. Too bad they passed on it the first time around.

In October I can get a new phone with AT&T and get the great deal that come with renewing the contract. My kids are on AT&T and so is my Spokey, so I'll stay with them.

So, I have to see what's available but I'm like Sue. I don't want the fancy stuff. A phone I can use and maybe this time, I'll get one that does email. Sounds like more money on the monthly bill.

I did check at Costco and for the price I'd pay at an AT&T store, they throw in chargers for the car and a bunch of other stuff. I'll be getting it at Costco, for sure.

I have my cell phone, home phone with long distance, Dish TV and internet all on my AT&T bill. Comes out to about $200 a month.

I use an iPhone and an ipod Nano. the Phone is a cornerstone to my job, and while I am in Afghanistan, I can use skype app and talk to my daughter and my wife at will over WIFI. The Nano is so useful to me! It's the reason that I got my 2 Mile run time into the 13 min time range by using the Nike Runner...

Thanks Steve!
