Looks beautiful. Can't imagine that feeling of pulling the car out of the garage. Congrats!

Thanks for the pictues Bill. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words. And to that end I've included a couple tech tips for my British-car loving friend.

In this first photo I've got two. First, a small headband LED fashlight. This is something you can toss in the trunk and it takes up no space. Very inexpensive and available at K-marts and the like. Along with it I've included a cheap expandable-screw-on funnel that can be bent to any shape needed. Being British you know you are going to need to add fluids sooner or later during your travels now that you are on the road!

And my final tip is something you may know already. I think I'm late to the party on this one but having just found it, I love it. What makes this painter's tape different is the edges "stick" really good, yet it's very easy on and off like blue tape.

Great to see the headway you've made. Enjoy.

Wow, Bill, that's a wonderful BD present! A milestone! The Healey restoration is a project that I really admire! Thanks for posting the photos and update. Now you have to put those shiny new knock off wire wheels on!
Happy Birthday, Jim. Thanks for all your support. You'll get the first ride in Texas if it ever makes it down there.

Thank you Ray, Deb, Lainey, Steve, and Gene. I appreciate it.

Doug, I'll get to your big Knapp Vineyard meet one of these years.

Dave, you know, I already have one of those headlights. I just forgot to use it (duh). What do you use the tape for, to protect the paint? By the way, your hardware is way too well organized.

Go for it Rob. I never really worked on the T series cars, so I may not be much help. I started with MGAs and Bs and then went to Bugeyes. I really learned about the big Healeys on this project, and in hind sight, I'm amazed at how different they are from the MGs and bugeyes. The car really was hand built in many respects.

I'm not sure I'll ever do another restoration, Rob. The next project will either be a kit car, or a British hot rod/mod car. Given the value of the old British cars, it is more likely that I will buy a kit car. It just does not seem to be worth while buying a British sports car and then cutting it up. If I found the right Healey 100 for the right price, I would go the mod route.

But first I have to finish this one. The downfall of any home restorer is having too many projects at the same time.

No, put it on a part, a box, or a shelf to identify the item. The reason I included the hardware cabinet was to show how I had used it on the various nut and bolt storage compartments.
