Doug, I'll get to your big Knapp Vineyard meet one of these years.

Running with 130 cars is an unbelievable thing...

Doug, I am going to get there as well; maybe, even this year IF I can get the car sorted out enough to feel confident. I've replaced all the original 1500 running gear with MkII (engine, transmission, differential, brakes, wire wheels) but still have a couple things to work out, including pulling the engine before a national meet in a month. I've got all the parts; just waiting for an extra set of hands to help quide it out.

Is there still room this year Doug? It would be pretty cool if Dave and I both attended with our British cars.

It would also be a small miracle if both you and Dave were able to coax your wonderfully quirky beasts all the way to the Finger Lakes on the same weekend!

Congratulations on a major MAJOR milestone! Right up there with the first time the engine is re-lit. And thanks, Bill, for taking the time and effort to do pics. Next thing we know, you'll be sprinkling your posts with foreigh emoticons a'la Lainey.

Great job Bill! You are going to have to take it to one of the S2000 drives in the future. I was at a British Bash here in Louisville two weeks ago. There were several AH's!

Is this the one whose transmission was on the table when we attended the cookie party? If so, you've come a long way, baby. Congrats. Talk about your determination and tenacity! What could possibly be next? If you like working on old British cars, I've got a Jag for you to work on if you get bored.

Congrats, Bill! Looks like a fun toy. Hopefully you can get a few good years out of it before the next round of work.
