I think that if the accuser does get any money then it sure would be a hard earned dollar. Whether or not she was indeed assaulted by Bryant, she was certainly raped by the media and the criminal justice system. I find Byant's apology hollow. If this was about money all along, then why didn't the accuser file immediately? Has anyone considered the point that the civil suit may have been filed for the same reason that a civil case was brought against O. J. Simpson?

As Jay Leno said last night, Lance Armstrong is a real hero and role model. It's too bad these other types get so much "media". As for quilty or not quilty - does it really matter at this point? They both will carry the media baggage for the rest of their lives.
