I've been buying IBM/Lenovo computers for years, probably about 4 per year. In general they've been trouble free. They give good service and are quite durable.

My only complaint is that they are heavy. Other than that they are decent machines.

I had a employer issued IBM T-40 (made by Lenovo after IBM sold off that division) for several years. I had good news and bad news with it once:

The bad news was that the main board went away.
The good news is that it was not the hard drive (as I may have not had everything synched up with the server at the time.
