Here's another source for a rack.

http://www.classiccarrier.com/

I like the looks of this one because it spreads the load over more of the trunk lid and the pull of the load during acceleration is near the hinges. The other racks put a twisting load on the edges of the truk lid. Maybe it is never a problem - I haven't tried any of them.

Mine is black powdercoat ( not made anymore ) also have the black leather straps to go with. Carrier sells for $298 & Straps are $78, plus shipping. Mine is still in original box, and NEVER been used. If interested, please PM me. $300, shipped in original packing to lower 48. Note...I placed this in "For Sale" forum, two years ago.Possibly someone in Vintage, may be interested..?

Tell your wife you'll leave your golf clubs behind if she leaves her clothes behind.

You wouldn't have time to golf anyway if she took you up on the offer.

^Anne, Erik, and Andy, at the Sacramento S2k Days in July 2005.

I didn't read this thread but I know this guy, Erik, from Washington who has one. I think he got it from Australia. If you want to, PM me your e-mail and I'll forward it to him in an e-mail. He's never on S2ki.

Wow, a luggage rack for the S2000! Might this Surco also traffic in white-walled SO2s?
(What happened to the "barf" emoticon? I needed to deploy it here.)

I know that there are bike carriers that fit into a trailer hitch (available for S2000) - perhaps there is a luggage rack that mounts in the same way.

Incredibe!

Towing a Trailer. Your car is not designed to tow a trailer. Attempting to do so can void your warranties --2003 Honda S2000 Owner's Manual, pg. 145.

P.S. Were I not also able to afford a truck and an SUV (both of which are equipped with trailer hitches), I wouldn't own an S. Besides, how big of a dork would one have to be in order to tow a trailer behind an S2000? LOL!

Thanks Kyras, I have a small spoiler on the trunk which would not allow this type of rack. I am looking at one that attaches at the sides. Put on or take it off as needed.

Thanks dhayner, I have also been sent a picture of a golf bag that attaches by trailer hitch. Inventive ideas, but I couldn't bring myself to put a trailer hitch on my s2. I'm having enough trouble with the luggage rack.

It is amazing how many people put ski and board racks on their s2's.
