Default Make A Wish

The Allegheny Chapter is hosting a car cruise featuring the S2000 for the benefit of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The date is Sunday, June 25, 2006 at the Monroeville Mall located 10 miles East of Pittsburgh. This fun-filled event will feature a car show, prizes, raffles, and a whole lot more! The event will start at 11AM for S2k's and will end around 4PM. The rest of the "all makes, all models" vehicles will be arriving at noon. We are asking for a minimum donation of $10 per car to be paid the day of the event. We are not taking reservations so the event will be a first-come first-served basis. There will be reserved parking for S2k's that are able to show up early. Please PM me for more information, we need your support!

Thanks for the interest folks in this great cause. I'll keep everyone posted as we move ahead. I posted in several different forums and the interest has been fantastic. Various forums are planning dinners and drives with the money going to Make-A-Wish, it's true S2 owners are something special.

Thanks again

Jumpy Guy,

It is my belief (and hope) that once you provide more details on this event that more of the Vintage set will step up to support this very worthy cause.

At least I hope so. I assume that the actual donation will be be tax deductable?

Yes it would be a tax deduction. I too was hoping for a better response, it might come.

Update! The Allegheny Club is putting the final touches on the Make-A-Wish Car Show and wanted to keep you all up to date. The date again is June 25th at the Monroeville Mall www.monroevillemall.com. We will be on the side of the mall by Best Buy. The cost is $10.00 per car of which 100% will be donated to Make-A-Wish. The hours are from 12PM to 4PM. There will be a DJ, Trophies, Chinese Auction, 50/50 and lots more. We are really hoping for a good turnout from Honda owners. I really hope you can join us for this great day and to support this worthwhile charity. If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me. Looking forward to meeting everyone at Watkins Glen.
