Michael Vick is back
IMO - he should return. He was found guilty, served his time and now like anyone else that committed a crime has the right to go back to work. If he were making $24,000 a year we would never hear about this
What's the point of incarceration in a penetentiary if not to rehabilitate the offender? I always thought that was supposed to be the goal. Is it really important that he is sincerely sorry for what he did?
It's much more important in my view that he learned he is not above the law and now realizes there are limits to fame and fortune. Sincerity aside I think he's not likely to offend again.
It also seems to me extremely interesting that he ended up signing with the Eagles as opposed to maybe the Raiders - a team with a history of reclamation projects.
Philly fans routinely boo future Hall Of Famers.

Yeah, in the good ole Al Davis days, the Raiders pretty much just required that you be out of jail on Sunday afternoon.
At least Vick isn't profiting from his crime, like the Watergate felons who subsequently made big bucks on the lecture circuit. My employer recently paid Art Schichter to make a presentation on ethics and the consequences of bad decisions. That's just plain profiting from the crimes, and I find that objectionable. If there's ever a felon who should be working in a car wash for the rest of his life, Schlicter would be it, IMHO. I, for one, was unwilling to hear what he had to say.

While I don't care for what he did, he did his time and paid his fines. He should be able to go on with his life. As for the NFL(also insert MLB, NBA, etc), it could dry up and blow away tomorrow and I couldn't be bothered. They are just a bunch of over priced crybabies.
Oh yeah -
One thing I forgot to mention. In the days following the announcement of the indictments I hugged Molly and Precious especially hard.
I'll try to remember to do the same tomorrow.
