I am glad your are ok Morris.

My daughter told us that they felt the shaking in Half Moon Bay. I always worry when there is a quake.

Watching the news.... all that wine lost. It's alcohol abuse, just watching it leak all over and the barrels destroyed. *sigh*

But on a serious note, glad you are okay Dean.

On our local news we saw Napa’s post office building that was destroyed. I’m glad that you’re okay with only minor damages A 6.0 quake is significant! Good luck with your repairs.

I went downtown to lunch today (and to support the merchants there). The car with the bricks through the back window you have all seen? Still sitting there and someone has put a For Sale sign on the back of it. Made me LOL.

Yeah, our post office was a historic building, very ornate inside. My guess is it will be torn down. Another building two blocks away was only built about 5 years ago -to earhquake standards supposedly- and it has split apart. The third floor tenants can look down inside and see the first floor. I suspect a major lawsuit will be coming over that one. My lunch site, Downtown Joe's, was retrofitted about three years ago, and had no structural damage at all. They were open serving food Sunday morning, maybe the only place in the whole downtown area. They are 200 feet from the building with the parapet ready to fall.
