I had one on my neck/shoulder and I think one on my left knee. Judy's had one relating to migraines. The hard part was concentrating on being completely still for given amounts of time. I don't think there was music available, so I'd try to think through a song the length of each session.

I've been to meetings at work that were much worse.

The MRI machine that was used on me was very quiet. It just ticked. the only trouble I had was trying to keep my leg still during the entire scan.

I've had a few MRI's on my neck. now they don't bother me. The first one did since I didn not know what to expect. I tried to close my eyes so I didn't see the top of the tube but then with the air flowing over me, I got the sensation of moving which creeped me out.
