Yep...it's looking good!! Woohoo!! But I'm not sure the team will get back the old name. To be determined.

That is great, congrats and about time. Glad the ass in Baltimore got the beat down. Him crying over 40 mile distance when both cities support other professional sports at the same time. The reality this is not football, there are 162 games a year, not 16, hard to see people in DC buying season tickets in droves to and driving to Baltimore 81 times a year

I'm glad the team is moving where they will be supported. The last few times I was at an Expo game I swear there were more people at the local little league games. The "atmosphere" just wasn't there.

I think if the owners make a concerted effort to put a winning or competitive team on the field, Washington will support it. If they don't, Washington won't. I think it's that simple.

I'll be good to see Washington, D.C. as a major league town again.

I wonder what they'll name the team. If not the Washington Senators perhaps the Washington Fillibusters. What do you think? (We should start a naming contest)

The Freedom Fighters!

(If crime fighters fight crime and fire fighters fight fire, what do freedom fighters fight?)

I heard on the radio this morning that the name Washington Senators is owned by the Texas Rangers, and the name the Expos use will have to be different.
