^ That name has been suggested, along with alot of others. The sentimental fave is Senators, but the DC mayor is protesting that, since DC does not have a Senator.

Breaking news: The move is now official!! The announcement will coincide with the 33rd anniversary of the Senators' departure from DC - tomorrow I believe.

It is a shame that baseball wasn't sucessful in Montreal. Canada should have more than just one team.

I think it should be "Washington RIO's."

Republicans In Office!



The Astros won't come to town until July. I may be already overseas by then. Personally, I am just happy that a National League team is less than 3 hrs away now. Took the entire family and mom-in-law to Philly this year to see the 'stros. That ballpark is generic and set in a sea of concrete.
