Default Myrtle Beach Fires

Just saw that the North Myrtle Beach area is affected by these wildfires. Hope you're not in their path...look pretty nasty.

I'm sure Val knows how to get in touch with him.

^^ Got an email this morning and the fires were not near him at that time. He said it was raining ash up on the highway yesterday and it looked like Mt. St. Helens again. I believe he's far enough southeast of the fires to not be threatened, but I suspect the smoke is nasty. I looked at a few webcams and it was a true mess. Several of the webcams are down and not working.

Scary stuff indeed. Hope he keeps us posted with his new toy. He knows how we mother hens worry about him and his family.

Me, too...

They are just not prepared for those kinds of fires in SC. This is the first time I have ever heard of wildfires there.

Keep us informed, Val, if you hear anything else.
I told him the Vintagers are concerned. I'm hoping he'll post.
