I have visitors from Germany here in Durango this week. Yesterday we did the jeep trail from Silverton to Ouray. There was evidence of extreme washout all along the route, and in places is was almost impassable. The visitors couldn’t have imagined that a vehicle could actually advance along that trail. Lots of adrenaline, and a fun day. We ended up spending time in the hot water pool in Ouray for coming down and relaxing. Coop knows that traill very well...

Yes it is. We honeymooned there and returned for our 35th. Elegant and very friendly.

what can you recommend and where would you go and visit during those few days, please also think about travel time? I want this to be relaxing and enjoyable for her, maybe something around a nice harbor town for one night,

Thanks

I'll try to remember to send a PM to you when I go up next spring.
Wow 100, good for her. You are very lucky to have had your Mom around for so many years. You're a good son.Tell her congrats.

You're more than welcome to drop by and do dinner with us if you happen to get to the DC/Alexandria region
