Make sure the Bose is connected to your TV. There should be a video out connector on the Bose that goes into Video in.

To display the settings menu on your TV screen, press the "SETTINGS" button.

To change the video black level - click the "SETTINGS" button and scroll down to "VIDEO BLACK LEVEL"

The BOSE is connected correctly. The cables (monster (audio, video), optical, and S-Video) all connected as it should be.

Settings is working, however is not displaying on the TV screen but on the little display on the BOSE equipment.
I was able to change the Video black level, the problem started after I changed something else, whatever that was that set it to STATUS: TV Only.

Again, thank you for your reply. Hopefully with the help from BOSE via email or in their store I have this solved soon. I'll let you know.

Peggy

Hope one of you guys can help me.

I have a Bose Home Entertainment system and when pressing the settings button on the remote control, the settings are displayed on the TV and from there you can set/change various settings by scrolling up and down and enter.

I was probably 'button happy' as I was clicking and scrolling up and down and now the settings are not being displayed on the TV anymore. In addition, I lost the DVD signal to the TV.

It was working before I was "button happy", I just want to set the "Video black level" and the brightness.

What in the heck did I do?

Normally I can figure things out, I'm the one in this household, that connects radio's, TVs, VCRs, sets up a home network, etc.

I bet it's something simple... anyone knows if I can reset this system to its default? Unplugging the power is not doing it.

I went to the Bose website, but nothing about how to get your settings back to display on the screen and most of all my DVD signal.

Thank you guys in advance.

Peggy
Bose has a technical support line that you can contact. When they introduced the 3 2 1 system several years ago I brought one and had problems with getting it to work correctly. I had to contact Bose technical support dept., and they assisted me by sending me a disc, and walked me through the steps of getting my unit to operate correctly.
